MCX connector on UX barrier
We are proud to inform that our already flexible solution for antenna in hazardous location, the UX series, is now available with a new feature to increase even more its flexibility of use: the MCX connector on the radio side.
This configuration allows for a smaller connector, compared to our standard RP-SMA/SMA, to be used on the inside of the explosion proof enclosure, in particular with the 90° version, for use in circumstances with tight tolerances or very reduced space available in the enclosure, such as in applications with gas detectors.
Furthermore, the MCX does not need to be screwed, it simply plugs in making installation faster and easier while also having better resistance against vibration compared to standard screw connectors.
